✨ The WFGV Youth Leadership Program is more than just a program—it’s an adventure in growth, leadership, and discovering the power within! Designed for young women ages 12–19, this experience connects girls from across the Greater Rochester Area and gives them the tools to dream big and lead boldly. There are ONLY 30 slots available.
Through exciting, hands-on opportunities, participants will:
💡 Build confidence and develop leadership skills that will last a lifetime
🤝 Work with mentors and inspiring business leaders who will open doors to new possibilities
🏙️ Explore local businesses and gain a behind-the-scenes look at diverse career paths
🎤 Plan major WFGV events, helping shape experiences that impact our entire community
💬 Grow friendships with peers who share their passion for learning and leadership
Meeting twice a month, girls will enjoy transformative experiences that mix fun, creativity, and real-world learning. From social-emotional growth to professional development, this program is designed to empower each participant to shine as the leader she was meant to be.

Important Things to Know:
Meeting Location: This is a fun, interactive hybrid program! Participants meet twice a month, either online or in person at the WFGV office. (All dates are listed below.)
Cost: Free Program
Transportation: WFGV does not provide transportation, but we do offer bus passes. Because we also attend exciting community events throughout the year, participants will need reliable transportation to take part in the full experience.
Volunteer Hours & Recommendations: Students who complete the program will earn volunteer hours and may also receive letters of recommendation for jobs, scholarships, and college applications.
Attendance: To stay enrolled, participants must attend at least one session per month.
Accessibility: We welcome young women of all abilities! If your child has specific needs or medical requirements, please reach out so we can make the program accessible and supportive.
