Girls Grantmaking Committee
The Women’s Foundation is seeking high school-age girls to volunteer on the Girl’s Grant Making Committee.
With support and training from the Women’s Foundation, teen girls review grant applications from programs that benefit girls in the region and decide, as a group, where the money will have the greatest impact.
After the first meeting, each girl will be assigned two or three proposals to read and score at home. Each proposal takes about an hour to evaluate, and the girls will have three weeks to review their designated proposals.
Participants must be able to attend both meetings.
Important 2024 Dates
June, 2024 - Joint Girls Grantmaking and Women’s Grantmaking Committee meeting for orientation, and proposal review instructions.
September 2024 - Girls Grantmaking Committee 2nd meeting - meeting for applicant finalists to present to the Girls Committee before the Committee makes its final decisions.
